I agree, however, However, it never has been my intent to rev the VG30 past 9500 rpm (less than 1/2 of what today's F1 engines are producing rev wise). However, the advantages / principles for reving a road race engine are similiar to my application. 4.00" bore w/2.75" stroke revved to 10k, results in Piston Speeds less than 4600 fpm. Still in that reasonable range...
